Soul Talking (Wisdom in Rhyme) began its conversation more than decade ago. I have finally decided that these writings are to be shared. The premise of this sharing is that they (the rhymes) will possibly enlighten the reader to the reader’s own special gifts.
Each time I have been inspired to write, needless-to-say, there has been a situation presenting itself to me in my life and I have been drawn to my writing book where the rhyme has unfolded. Most of these rhymes I have deliberately left in the first person. I did this so that the reader now has the opportunity to own the words if they so choose.
The original writing of each piece is hand written in ink and seldom do I change any of these words as they have always made sense to me. There have been many of these writings that I have begun to get some music in my mind coming through as I re-read the words. Some I have actually gone ahead and taken them into the recording studio and created a c.d.
It has been clear to me at the time of each writing exactly what inspired me. Often the writing was not even meant for me so I have passed it onto the person I knew it to be for.
With all of the buzz about “Law of Attraction” – “Being in the Now” – “Intention"-“Changing Your Mind” , I feel that so much of what I write speaks directly to these topics.
This is the way I choose to live my life and this makes me responsible for all that happens in my life. Sometimes this way of being can be overwhelming but mostly I can feel so at peace. I am at the helm of my own ship and have no one else to hold accountable for my successes and failures in life. It is simply a point of view and I welcome all other points of view. I choose to honor other people’s points of view as their own point of view.
In all of this I encourage the reader to be open to the possibility that there is another way. I have done this and that is what has brought me to these conclusions.
1) There is always plenty of everything – we only need to be open to receiving and trust.
2) Everything, in life, is absolutely perfect – no matter what!
3) We are all ONE!
4) My vision holds me where I am at all times.
5) I am eternal!
