Written on the beach of Rehoboth Beach Delaware one day after Harry and I had got up extremely early and driven the two hours to Rehoboth to watch the sunrise! Thus the photo, which Harry took of me, at sunrise on every page on the web! If you have never done this I strongly encourage you to feel free and be spontaneous and find somewhere special to watch the sunrise. It will change your life.
MAGNIFICENT MOMENTS
AS THE STARS SHONE BRIGHT IN THE EARLY SKY
GULLS BROKE THE SILENCE WITH THEIR PLAINTIFF CRY
THE TIDE ROLLED IN AND ENVELOPED THE SHORE
A MOMENT IN TIME NEVER SEEN BEFORE
OUT ON THE HORIZON PINK BLENDED WITH BLUE
AS THE RAYS OF THE SUN BEGAN TO SHINE THROUGH
THE SUN ROSE UP RIGHT OUT OF THE SEA
SHOWING THE WAY AS IT SET DARKNESS FREE
THE OCEAN SPARKLED AND GLISTENED SO BRIGHT
AS THE STAR FADED OUT SAYING GOODBYE TO NIGHT
SEAGULLS DANCED IN THE SAND AS IF TO SAY
THESE MAGNIFICENT MOMENTS ARE HERE TO STAY
SUNRISE AT THE BEACH WHAT A BEAUTIFUL SCENE
MAGNIFICENT MOMENTS JUST WHAT DO THEY MEAN
THE TRUTH IS THE REASON WE MAY NEVER KNOW
THESE MAGNIFICENT MOMENTS THEY COME AND THEY GO
